Former Army MOS codes and what they are now
The Army retires, merges and renumbers jobs over time, so the code on your DD-214 may not exist anymore. Find your former code below, then open the guide for the job that does that work today.

| 44B Metal Worker | 91E Allied Trades Specialist | July 2010 | In July 2010 the Army combined MOS 44B (Metal Worker) and 44E (Machinist) into 91E, Allied Trades Specialist. |

Why your code might not be listed
We only list a former code when an official or well-documented source confirms the change. These are still being verified:
- 45K Armament Repairer. Documented as renumbered 91K, which has since been retired; the current successor is not yet confirmed.
- 21U Topographic Analyst. Listed only as a historical code; the successor is not yet confirmed.
- 64C Motor Transport Operator. Believed to be today's 88M; no reliable source yet.
