U.S. Space Force
Space Force SFSC List:
jobs to civilian careers.
Use this Space Force SFSC list to map Guardian jobs into civilian career paths, salary ranges, credentials, and resume language. Current guides focus on space operations, cyber, intelligence, and cleared contractor pathways.
USSF SFSC note
Space Force uses the same CFETP skill level system as the Air Force. Your skill level is a primary seniority signal that most 3-level Specialists underuse and most 7-level Craftsmen undervalue. A 7-level is a civilian manager-level candidate regardless of paygrade. Guardians also hold some of the most in-demand technical and intelligence skill sets in the private sector, particularly in defense contracting, satellite operations, and cyber. Every guide in this series uses SFSC and CFETP level as the primary seniority inputs when determining which roles to recommend and what salary floors to apply.
Space Force SFSC questions this list answers
What is an SFSC?
SFSC means Space Force Specialty Code. It identifies a Guardian's enlisted specialty and helps map Space Force work to civilian role families.
Which Space Force jobs transfer well?
Cyber operations, space systems operations, all-source intelligence, and cryptologic analysis map into cyber, satellite operations, mission operations, cleared intelligence, and defense contractor roles.
Does clearance guarantee a civilian job?
No. Clearance improves market access for many Space Force-aligned roles, but employers still need proof of tools used, mission scope, technical depth, and outcomes.
