Chapter 10C identifies 15C as MQ-1 Operator. Soldiers remotely pilot assigned unmanned aircraft, complete preflight, flight, and post-flight procedures, select and prepare sites, support launch and recovery, plan reconnaissance and surveillance missions, coordinate intelligence collection, operate communications and support equipment, maintain records, perform limited authorized maintenance, and instruct or evaluate operators. Secret eligibility applies, but civilian authority and access remain employer-controlled.
