Who we are

CommandPath (commandpath.org) is a veteran career intelligence platform built to help separating service members translate their military experience into civilian career success. We are operated as a sole proprietorship based in the United States.

What information we collect

We collect information you provide directly when using the CommandPath blueprint tool:

• Career intake data — branch of service, pay grade, years of service, core functions, skills, and career goals you enter into the blueprint intake form
• Email address — collected when you unlock your full blueprint results
• Payment information — if you purchase a paid service, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details
• Communications — any messages you send us via email

We also collect standard technical information automatically, including your browser type, device type, IP address, and pages visited. This is standard for any website.

How we use your information

• To generate your personalized career blueprint
• To send you your blueprint results and follow-up resources
• To send periodic career intelligence content relevant to veteran transitions (you can unsubscribe anytime)
• To improve the CommandPath product and understand how veterans use it
• To respond to your questions and support requests

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that has legal or significant effects on you.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the platform:

• Anthropic — powers the AI engine that generates your blueprint. Your intake data is sent to Anthropic's API to produce your results. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing
• Stripe — processes payments securely. We do not handle your card details directly
• Beehiiv or similar email platform — used to send your blueprint and newsletter emails

We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of CommandPath, our users, or the public.

Data retention

We retain your email address and career intake data for as long as you are an active subscriber or customer. If you request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days.

Anonymized, aggregated data (e.g., trends across veteran career profiles) may be retained indefinitely as it cannot identify you.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email we send

Cookies

CommandPath uses minimal cookies necessary for the site to function. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use third-party analytics platforms that track you across the web.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top and notify active subscribers by email. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
